Susannah Joffe Parents Are Scott Joffe and Kimberli Joffe

Susannah released her first Extended play on May 18, 2022, The Punch. The album was mainly focused on heartbreak.

The listeners of the songs could resonate with its raw, unfiltered rage and deep sadness. She received a positive response from her very first album.

For the singer, the journey of her musical career has been extremely liberating as she could express everything she couldn't say out loud in a conversation.

The singer released the song Backseat in 2021 and it was her breakthrough single. It caught listeners' attention and gained 1.2 million streams on Spotify.

The song is about her own personal story, which she wrote during the time of quarantine. Backseat creates a refreshing space for LGBTQ-centric songs that speak to anyone familiar with heartbreak.

Her latest single is 'In Your Room', released on August 10, 2022. This song is about having a hard time growing up and a homage to her three childhood best friends with who she is still quite close.

She was at a very dark time and peak of her depression at that time and substance abuse. The song's chorus is about a specific night she shared with her three best friends.

In Your Room also narrates the power of female friendships. It explains how a friendship can take you out of the darkness and gives you hope that things will be okay.

After that, she transitioned from writing a heartbreak song, and it was pretty challenging for her to process those feelings.

The singer shifted her focus to explore what change and support meant to her. She doesn't like to put up a false narrative that growing up is easy, fun, and coming of age.

Joffe is more drawn to grunge and indie rock sound, taking inspiration from Beabadoobee's Loveworn and, earlier, Soccer Mommy.

She is a creative artist who grew up in the visual arts, studying films and drawing. Her music makes her close to the visual she has in her head, and she can imagine the outfit, aesthetic, color scheme, or place in her songs.

Susannah recently went on a musical tour called Here Goes Nothing!. The tour was organized by Adam Melchor in various places in the United States.

On March 3rd, she played for Warehouse Live Studio in Houston, Texas. Another was on March 4th in the Scoot Inn in Austin, and lastly, she presented her music at Granada Theater in Dallas on March 5.
